EP #10: PechaKucha presentations in nursing fundamentals courseย

๐Ÿ’ฌ What if ...

What if you could replace a redundant lecture with a high-impact, 7-minute visual 'lightning talk' that students enjoyed and still met the learning outcomes?

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Insight

PechaKucha (20 slides, 20 seconds each) was found to be just as effective as traditional 30-minute PowerPoint presentations for reinforcing vital signs knowledge and skills.

In addition, this format also yields significantly higher student satisfaction (Cohenโ€™s d = 1.157).ย

This technique would serve as a post-lecture reinforcement tool to highlight key clinical points without the cognitive fatigue of long lectures.
